Inauguration of Gunjaman Singh Hospital in ward no. 14 of Ratnanagar Municipality, Chitwan

India Builds Hospital at Ratnanagar Municipality Ward No. 14 Tole Pithuwa in Chitwan District

1. On 31st March 2021, Shri Nitesh Kumar, Consul General of Consulate General of India in Birgunj and Shri Durgesh Man Singh, Chairman of Gunjaman Singh Memorial Trust  jointly inaugurated the Gunjaman Singh Hospital in Chitwan District. The inaugration was also attended by friends of  India and Nepal including the Hospital Management Committee, local politicians and community leaders.

2. The 50- bedded Hospital has been built with the Government of India’s grant of NRs. 47.94 million. It has state of the art facilities including the security equipments like heat detector, smoke detector, Doctor’s room, Nurse’s room, store, administration section, accounts section and toilets. The building also has uninterruptible supply of water and electricity.

3. The Hospital is being run by the Human Development and Community Services (HDCS), Non-Government Organization, Chitwan on no profit no loss basis.

4. The Hospital is built to provide improved health care service to the people of Chitwan and surrounding Districts.
