NOTICE

ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL (APS)

ADMISSION  IN  ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOLS (APS)  IN INDIA UNDER APS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2024-25

Embassy of India, Kathmandu invites applications from Nepalese nationals (boys and girls) who wish to seek admission in Class VI to IX and XI in following Army Public Schools:-  

(i) APS Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand)    - Class VI & XI (boys & girls)

(ii) APS Dhaula Kuan (Delhi) - Class VI to IX (boys only)

(iii) APS Noida (UP) - Class VI to IX (girls only)

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who wish to apply for Army Public School Scholarship Scheme must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

(i) The candidate applying for admission in class VI and onwards must have passed previous class before applying for next class. It is mandatory to submit copy of final mark sheet (of class V & onwards as the case may be) and a certificate (in original) from the Headmaster/Principal of school where the candidate is studying regarding his/her current status, therefore, appearing students are not  eligible  for seeking admission in next higher class.

(ii) Candidates must have good proficiency in English.

(iii) Candidates must be medically fit.

3. Age Criteria :

Candidates should fulfill the following age criteria :-

4. Instructions for filling up application:

Application Form in bio-data format may be submitted by post/courier or personally at the Education Wing of Embassy of India, Kathmandu from January 15, 2024 to February 2, 2024 between 1030 hrs. to 1230 hrs. and 1500 hrs. to 1700 hrs. The applicant must deposit application fee of NRs. 400/- (Four Hundred only) in favour of Embassy of India, Kathmandu, Account Number 17725240200331 in Nepal SBI Bank only, anywhere in Nepal. Applicants should submit following documents to the Embassy:

(a) Complete bio-data of student in English language with one photo (to be pasted at space given for photo.

(b) Photocopy of date of birth certificate issued by Municipality and duly attested by Notary Public.

(c) Photocopy of mark sheet of last exam passed duly attested by Notary Public.

(d) Photocopy of Citizenship of father and mother in English Transcript duly attested by Notary Public. 

(e) Certificate, in original, from Headmaster/Principal of the school last attended certifying that the 

student has passed last class from Government/Private school as the case may be and that he/she is 

proficient in English

(f) Original Medical Fitness Certificate 

(g)        Original Counterfoil of Bank Voucher of NPR 400/-

(The notarization of documents must be original. Photocopy of Notary attested documents will not be accepted)

5. Selection Process:

An English test & interview would be held in Embassy of India, Kathmandu to select meritorious and deserving students on the basis of screening/marks. Shortlisting of candidates for English test &  interview does not guarantee admission in APS unless their placement is confirmed by respective APS in India.
