As part of Celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (India@75) and to observe 'World Hepatitis Day', Consulate General of India in Birgunj organized a panel discussion on the topic "Hepatitis: Causes, Symptoms, Prevention & Cure"inside the Consulate premises on July 28,2022 at 1600 hrs. Eminent physicians and experts of Internal Medicine of Birgunj viz., Dr. Niraj Singh of Narayani Hospital, Dr. Abhishek Singh of Narayani Medicity Vayodha, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jha, a private practitioner and Dr. Jeetendra Mishra of National Medical College participated in the discussion. 

2. In his remarks, Consul General Shri Nitesh Kumar highlighted the menace of Hepatitis world over in general and in Indian sub-continent in particular. He further emphasized the need of proper knowledge about the disease to deal with it. He also elucidated the reasons of observing July 28 as World Hepatitis Day.

3. In their lucid presentations, all the Panelist Doctors apprised the participants about causes, types, symptoms, prevention and treatment of Hepatitis. They also touched upon the social stigma attached to the disease and suggested to deal with its patients compassionately and positively. They also suggested the need to get vaccinated for Hepatitis, which is very effective to prevent it. Discussion was followed by an useful Question & Answer session.

आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव (India@75) र 'विश्व हेपाटाइटिस दिवस' मनाउन वीरगन्ज स्थित भारत को  महावाणिज्य दूतावास द्वारा वाणिज्य दूतावास परिसर भित्र जुलाई 28,2022 बेलुका ०४ बजे "हेपाटाइटिस: कारण, लक्षण, रोकथाम र उपचार" विषयमा प्यानल छलफलको आयोजना गरियो।     छलफलमा बीररगंजका इन्टरनल मेडिसिनका प्रख्यात चिकित्सक तथा विज्ञहरु जस्तै नारायणी अस्पतालका डा निरज सिंह, नारायणी मेडिसिटी बयोधाका डा अभिषेक सिंह, निजी चिकित्सक डा राकेश झा र नेसनल मेडिकल कलेजका डा जितेन्द्र मिश्रको सहभागिता रहेको थियो ।  ।

2. आफ्नो टिप्पणीमा, कन्सुल जनरल श्री नितेश कुमार ज्युले विश्वभर र विशेष गरी भारतीय उपमहाद्वीपमा हेपाटाइटिसको खतरा बारे प्रकाश पार्नु भयो। वहाँले रोगसँग लड्नका लागि उचित ज्ञान आवश्यक पर्नेमा जोड दिए । उनले जुलाई २८ लाई विश्व हेपाटाइटिस दिवसका रुपमा मनाउनुको कारण बारे पनि प्रष्ट पारे ।

 3. आफ्नो स्पष्ट प्रस्तुतिमा, सबै प्यानेलिस्ट डाक्टरहरू द्वारा हेपाटाइटिसको कारण, प्रकार, लक्षण, रोकथाम र उपचारको बारेमा सहभागीहरूलाई अवगत गराइएको थियो।  वहाँहरू द्वारा यस रोगसँग जोडिएको सामाजिक कलंक बारे पनि प्रकाश पारिएको थियो  साथै यसका बिरामीहरूलाई दयालु र सकारात्मक रूपमा व्यवहार गर्न सुझाव दिइएको थियो।  वहाँहरूले हेपाटाइटिसको खोप लगाउनु पर्ने सुझाव पनि दिनुभयो, जुनकि यस  रोगबाट बच्न निकै प्रभावकारी हुन्छ ।उपयोगी प्रश्नोत्तर सत्रमा छलफल भएको थियो ।
